Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Cinderella [one more wouldn't hurt i guess]. She was in high school [u bet!] and was extremely smart and talented but there was this one massive problem, she was kind of a looser! On the other hand a popular/ pretty/ cheerleader/ bully would always pick on her for no sensible reason whatsoever. One day a cute/ good looking/ kind/ intelligent/ and not to mention a basket ball player entered the school. As expected he befriended the cool kids right away leaving behind our very own Miss. Cinderella!! Shattered into pieces, Cinderella cursed her diner girl status for her to face this fate!!
*thunder, lightning, rain and lots and lots of tears*
Determined to bring a change in her social status, Cinderella takes part in a singing talent competition only to discover that the cute guy is also taking part [boy! is he multi-talented or what!]. They meet, fall in love, bitch tries to ruin it, miss understandings happen, lots of drama, homecoming ball and finally a kiss under the mistletoe!
Awwww....NOT!!!
Weren't the huge pile of kiddy fairy tales enough that came in another pile of teen movie cds to compete!?! A simple twist here and there and there you have it, the same old story only this time it is served with some salt and pepper!
Isn't this kind of movie made with an intention to make one feel good about themselves?? Then why does it backfire in my case and leaves me not only miserable for a few days but also wearing my pjs, having a bar of chocolate cursing MY status- the single!!
*again thunder, lightning, rain, only lesser tears this time*
This is for all to know, any girl, 17 or above, not completely outrageous looking, intelligent and 'single' is
a) NOT gay [no offence]
b) NOT sobbing to get a boyfriend
c) does not require your pity ; and
d) in no state to develope love for cats in fear of a dismal future!!
All those who are in a couple have fun and all those who are yet to be in one, enjoy your days of freedom!! God bless us all.. :P
PS: Never did i say i hate such movies. Methinks its rather entertaining :D hehe..
